Manaaki Whenua Press

Produces and distributes New Zealand natural history and science publications. Started business in 1993, as part of the New Zealand Crown Research Institute Landcare Research. Many of the books are developed from research by the staff of Landcare Research, and include the standard reference works on flora and fauna in New Zealand. Also stock books produced by other New Zealand natural history publishers, and we are the New Zealand distributors for books produced by CSIRO Publishing in Melbourne, Australia. The website contains poorly presented but nevertheless useful information from feature articles on topics such as home-kill butchering and choosing a ram for your flock.
