This is the title of a book written by practitioners Ian and Dianne Grant. There is information about how to get started on a small farm through to solving common everyday problems as well as the 25 secrets of success of small farming. These secrets include: team work, the younger the better, stay close to town, soil and water are priorities, the right site and the right land is vital, time management is essential, farm animals are not pets, and don't be a 365-day-a-year small farmer.
